Famous Portraits

John Sevee

Photo 1
25 September 2013

This picture is taken by Richard Avedon of a bazaar. He seems to like pictures in action as it is exemplified in his photos. In this photo there is action from the man on the left and the man on the right.

This portrait photo is taken by Arnold Newman. His style is different amongst others because he puts pizzaz in his portraits. They are not just boring pictures of faces they have background value.
This photo taken by Annie Leibovitz is the most different and interesting portrait because it is very odd. It incorporates other worldly aspects into the photo that gives it a better interest to the viewer.

Signs of Fall

I chose this image for signs of fall because it does a good job of portraying fall. It has the flowers which show the blooming of fall and it also has the birdbath which is put out for birds. I also like how it shows the clearness of the water and how it looks cool and calm.

Compositional Strategies

This picture shows the compositional strategy rule of thirds. The dog is just out of center which makes the picture show rule of thirds so well. I also like the visible rushing river in the background which gives further depth to the image.
